Eight questions to prepare before your first consultation

A good decision begins with the right questions. Writing down the points below before your first consultation helps you use your time well and clarifies your expectations.

Questions for the physician

  • Is this procedure suitable for me, and what are the alternatives?
  • How does the process work and how long does it take?
  • What should I pay attention to during recovery?
  • What are the possible risks and complications?

Questions for your coordinator

  • Which services are included in the offer, and which are not?
  • How many days do I need to stay and what is the follow-up schedule?
  • How does communication continue after treatment?
  • When will I receive the written offer and agreement?

Keep your current health condition, medications and previous operations at hand. The final treatment decision is always made after a physician’s assessment.
